My name is Stephan Heunis and I’m a researcher at the Eindhoven University of Technology. I work daily with MRI scanners, functional MRI data, signal processing methods, computer programming, and clinical studies (you can read more about our group’s work here). My specific line of research is real-time fMRI with applications in neurofeedback.

I created this site because I like to distill hard to find information into a coherent set of concepts that hopefully makes it easier for others to enter the field. Studying neuroscience introduces one to a large variety of complex ideas every day, so let’s share our useful findings rather than let it lie in its corner of the internet wasteland.

Please see this site as a fact-finding expedition, rather than an encyclopedia. Below you can let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Help me make the site better!
